What we offer

Why we do what we do

Most people are used to focus on surviving, not living. They waste their potential with frustrating jobs to finance their life. Not because of a lack of intelligence, not because of bad genes, but because of bad conditions when they grew up. Imagine how a world would look like if people would come together, finding out their individual interests, supporting these interests, extending their knowledge and skills to became experts. To shape the world, shape the future, together, with the power of everyone's individuality. How to create the right conditions? By using the possibilites of the internet, to make learning accesible for everyone - the first time in human history.

Where we are going

All successful tech startups like Facebook or Twitter started small, before they reached hundreds of millions of people worldwide. And we can give you the opportunity to become part of such a startup and to create with us the most successful online learning platform worldwide.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone not only talented, but also passionate. Willing to spend as much time as possible with working on InLearnity, because you realize how InLearnity can and will unleash the potential of hundreds of millions of people worldwide - by making learning (really) accessible for everyone.

Our location

Currently we work distributed (Marco Bartsch in Berlin, Germany & Fabian Saur in Hattingen, NRW, Germany). Considering that:
1. conditions for young startups are getting worse and worse in Germany and Europe,
2. our focus on the more promising US market
3. the better conditions for startups in the Bay Area and that the Bay Area is an amazing place to live (ignoring the crazy living costs)
=> we are going to work primarily in the Bay Area (probably San Francisco). Of course we can also work temporary distributed. But depending on the job, you may need to be flexible enough to move (temporary or permanent) to the Bay Area - as soon as we join an incubator program or find a first investment.

Don' contact us if..

... you want to join a "nice" startup with salary as Nr. 1 priority or only want to spend 1-2 hours / week on InLearnity.
There are a lot of "nice" startups in the world => doing a "nice" job, improving the lifes of some people in a small scale, before they fail, becoming a living dead or getting acquired.

But if you want to join an early stage startup and build with us the first sustainable multi-billion-user online learning platform
+ getting shares worth multiple 100k or even millions of $ in a few years
+ getting salary as soon as we get out first investment
THEN you should continue reading and get in contact with us,
if the following description sounds interesting to you :)

Our Story

Short version:
- first ideas when I (Marco Bartsch) was studying in 2014 => creating a platform for lectures.
- recognized that there are so many more ways to learn - using books, documentaries, video tutorials, workshops and much more - media & events
- learned about the importance of inspiration
- massive redesign because of the changed focus
- Fabian (a very good of mine & co-founder) joined working on InLearnity in December 2015
- released our MVP in September 2016 -> Beyond TED - http://beyondted.com
