We're searching for a Technical Co-founder for an Audio and Location -Based Social Media App.
About Us: StoryDrops is a location and audio-based social media application, currently available on the Apple App Store. The app is developed using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. Our backend, including authentication, database, and storage, is powered by Supabase. The website is built with Next.js, TypeScript, and TinaCMS, hosted on Vercel. We utilize Sentry for error tracking to maintain our app’s reliability. (www.storydrops.app)
What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a Technical Co-founder to take the lead in our app development efforts. As the primary developer in our small startup, you will be part of the team making all the big decisions of the app’s future, including roadmap, new features and strategy. We'll also need your help in some non-tech parts of the startup-life, so we hope you like to network, meet investors and sometimes maybe even pitch, if necessary.
For us diversity isn't just a buzzword, and we would like to encourage especially those coming from various gender/race/sexuality/etc expressions. We want to be a good company and try to do things the right way and we hope you feel the same way.
You would join our four person company as a co-founder and naturally with shares (20%). To be transparent, at the moment we're bootstrapping and in the process of starting to raise funding, so currently we're not paying ourselves, but we hope this changes soon and we have some funds allocated for the CTO for the beginning of 2024. Our current CTO will be stepping down and will be guiding us and you in the beginning.
