What we offer

I have an extensive understanding of the subject, and already have a team of neuroscientists, biophysicists, machine learning engineers and psychologists working on our projects. We also have business advisors and partners

Target group

clinicians and people with depression

Challenges

Many: complexity of the condition, establish an multi-stage, multi-team workflow, secure funding. We do, however, have carefully designed strategies to achieve our goal

Our Story

2 billion people worldwide have or have had depression in their lifetime. Less than half of people with depression in developed countries receive treatment. And about half of those who undergo treatment do not fully recover.

Depression is not simply sadness or lack of motivation, but a disabling clinical condition characterized by acute negative feelings that, among other things, increases the chances of suicide. Currently, recovery can take years, when not decades. The burdens of depression are felt by families, friends and society as depression and anxiety disorders cost US$ 1 trillion each year in lost productivity worldwide.

We believe that only a rigorous, focussed approached purely based on scientific evidence can change the situation. Our team of neuroscientists, biophysicists and machine learning engineers is looking across the globe for solid evidence of what works to ensure the public has access to them as quickly as possible.
