Our Story
My mom, although super fit and fiercely independent, struggles with everyday tasks due to arthritis in her hands. I also see her devotion to her friends, helping them manage their lives, running errands, spending time with them, checking in to make sure they're okay, just because there's no one else to do it or their kids are just too busy.
Like me, my friends are caught in the "sandwich generation," managing their lives and supporting their aging parents with tool crutches like whatsapp, google calendar and skype and racing over for an hour to lend a hasty hand. The challenge is even more daunting for those who live far apart. I thought there had to be a better, more modern, lifestyle-oriented solution that would help young-at-heart seniors and their families juggle their lives stress-free while maintaining their autonomy, rather than calling traditional senior services that scream "frail old person".
