Challenges
Implementation of two-sided marketplaces is always difficult, so there are a number of things to be mindful of. Developing the network effect of referrals from the community (candidates and referrals) will be a bit of work. The recruitment market is saturated.
Our Story
With my time spent as an agency recruiter, I struggled with the moral compass of the industry. I also thought it was inefficient.
Fast forward 10 years and I was busy building a service provider in the recruitment space here in London. I was dealing with 100's recruiters across different industries. I noticed the inefficiencies I used to experience in my markets were the same across all markets. A lot of the recruiters were also intrinsically motivated. Focused on commission rather than sourcing the best fit for candidates and companies.
Over this time, we heard A LOT of candidates struggle with the recruitment process here in London. After a little market research with companies, I decided to get going at 'righting some wrongs'!
