Our Story
During development of personalized or precision cancer therapy one patient generated over 100GB of raw omics data. Processing this data requires high-computing resources and skilled specialists - bioinformaticians. Complexity of the data prevents it from being effectively implemented for clinical decision support at scale. Implementation of AI/ML methods using genomic data is further limited by a sensitive nature of genomic data, which is considered a personal information and it cannot be anonymized.
Therefore we propose a solution - OmicsChart - a patient-centered platform for analysis of genomic (and other omics) data in cancer, which combines the concepts of confidential computing and federated learning to give ownership of the data to the patients, ensures safety of their data and provides a framework for implementation of AI/ML methods in a secure, scalable and institute-agnostic way.
OmicsChart is a winner of GRIT international accelerator (cohort 2022) selected by Microsoft.
