Introduction
Hi, my name is Philipp (Pip) and I am a young professional with a finance/investment background. I did my bachelor's degree in business administration, followed by a master's degree in finance with a focus on investments & capital markets. I have worked both as a tutor in teaching and as a working student (e.g. at Finanztip), supplemented by a 6-month internship at a management consultancy in Manhattan, NYC. I am interested in various financial topics, innovations (e.g. FinTech, Blockchain, etc.), trends and modern ways of working (e.g. Scrum, Design Thinking, agile workmode). In my free time, I love traveling and photography, meeting up with friends, reading and trying to educate myself in a variety of ways. One of my particular interests is sustainability, which I also wrote my bachelor thesis on (ESG criteria in the investment process), as I believe that we can all do something for a better future.
