Partying is human. For thousands of years we’ve been gathering in dark places, lit up fires, beat the drums and joined each other in communal dance. Why is it then that partying has such a negative appeal in society? You can’t come to the office after a great night out and tell your boss about it. If you’re applying for jobs and you are wise, you delete all the party photos from your social media before. It’s because partying has, through intense marketing from those who benefit from it, been directly tied to consumption of alcohol. I want to break that connection, be the first to regularly through sober parties and thus make partying acceptable in all social aspects. Because basically, a great night out is like sport: It’s beneficial to your health, beneficial to your social network and beneficial to your general well-being.
