boatify builds a worldwide peer to peer boat community, where boat owners, skippers and other service providers can meet and list their boats and services.
Using keywords, users can search location and calendar based what exactly they are looking for. They can also create their own individual boat adventure out of several offer categories. All members participating at a booking request can chat, approve and recommend each other. In the end, customers pay for booked tickets and providers get their respective pay-off transferred.

boatify provides access to private boats for everyone. Not only owners of a boat and/or a skipper´s license shall experience the magic of a private boat stay.
Surveys show that most boat owners are 50yrs and older; younger generations are less willing to buy and maintain their own boat. This reflects the general trend that access to assets is getting more important than possessing them. In the long run our model can even facilitate decisions for owning a boat thus helping boat clubs to maintain their stock of members at a stable level.

boatify will have to face diverse legal restrictions within different markets due to national regulations. In addition, we´ll need to be present at various locations. There will also be high difficulties to convince boat owners to list their boats with the arguments that all skippers will be approved and all services remain totally insurance covered. Boating also is a seasonal business, this risk we want to minimize in future by global presence.
