Cryptar was founded in 2015 in Munich by Florian Weigand. He discovered Bitcoin in 2013, and it became clear to him that this new technology was here to stay. He then began looking for real-world use cases to utilize the timestamp functionality of Bitcoin for the better.
First as CTO & Co-founder of Bernstein Technologies GmbH, in the field of intellectual property certification, and thereafter as Founder of Cryptar.
