We are looking for a CFO - Chief Financial Officer (m/f/d) as Co-Founder for Series A Investment for our location in Hamburg.
These are your tasks.
As Co-Founder, you will play a key role in driving the company's vision forward and preparing the company for the upcoming Series A financing.
● You develop investment optimization strategies and plan future deployments of the startup's financial resources, budgets and make your recommendations.
● You are an active part of the startup team as internal and external contact person for investors, lenders and financial authorities.
● You convince investors of the business idea and represent the interests of the company together with the management.
● You are responsible for the overall financial direction of the startup and ensure smooth implementation in accounting, financial statements, controlling.
What you bring to the table.
●You are a passionate founder and are on fire for building a tech startup.
● You ideally have a degree in Math, Business Administration with a specialization in Finance/Accounting, Tax or comparable degrees.
You already have at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally as an (interim) CFO.
● Your previous founding experience with startups is your plus.
● You ideally know the investor landscape and bring your network with you.
● You have a basic understanding and interest in technology/IT.
● Your first leadership experience of int. teams is an advantage, but not a must.
You are fluent in German and English.

PROBLEM
The main problem for every soccer player in the world is: How can I show my talent and how can I promote myself? The criteria for talent evaluation are the same in all countries and are valid worldwide. However, there is still no common standard metric for evaluating players. Now there is.

SOLUTION/PRODUCT
Join My Talent is the first universal talent rating tool – usable by anyone - on any soccer field in the world. With Join My Talent you are able to compare talents worldwide - without technical, language or cultural barriers. On "My Talentplace" we connect the right talents with the right clubs - in every playing level: players, coaches, scouts, clubs, etc.
This transforms Join My Talent from a standard for talent rating to a global platform. Highly scalable to other fields: All other sports, e-sports, human resources, etc.


BUSINESS CASE
It is a freemium model. The basic service of the app is free of charge. In addition, there is a monthly subscription model for additional features, for example, the matching or connection functions: 0.99€ per user / per month.

MARKET
In Germany alone, there are around 16,000,000 active soccer players, of whom around 3,000,000 are registered with the DFB.
To achieve our initial goals, we plan to start with less than 0.5% of the target group (Germany) in the first year:

EXECUTION PLAN / GO TO MARKET STRATEGY
Talent ID guarantees viral distribution. Several UI mechanisms within the app create a strong need and ensure a high retention rate. Marketing and sales are launched by creating a promotional landing page, reinforced by viral video content, soccer influencer marketing, app store listings and reviews, and social media campaigns.

TRACTION/MILESTONES
The app is completed and ready for download in the AppStores.
Beta test started.
Year 1: Beta test and optimization of the app, collection of relevant KPIs: conversion rate, retention rate, CAC, MRR and CLV. Soft market entry in Germany. Series A funding.
Year 2: International multilingual rollout: English, Spanish, Italian, French. Scaling to other sports: field field hockey, handball, futsal, beachball, streetball, etc.
