While working as a systems administrator, for a new restaurant franchise in New Zealand, I discovered the best metrics for predicting future sales revenue were variable population density, based on hotel/Airbnb occupancy rates, combined with historical sales data, and weather forecast models. Using statistical analysis I ran regression models to find the correlation, from there I set out to automate the system and build on the model.
